Each year, we accept a limited number of clients for custom monthly trainings and consultations. We select clients who have an extraordinary commitment to making lasting internal changes in organizational alignment, balanced scorecard strategic planning, DonorScan® strategic fundraising, or strategic communications—or any combination of these. Each of our bespoke programs includes monthly trainings for unlimited team members at your nonprofit or government agency, with additional small-group or one-on-one consultations throughout the month.
Organizational Alignment
- Length: 18 months
- Monthly two-hour customized group trainings for unlimited team members
- Eight additional hours of one-on-one consultations and follow-ups per month
- Content: Utilizing our proprietary organizational alignment and risk assessment model, we work with your organization’s leaders to assess current alignment to mission, review governance and management policies and practices, analyze workflow practices, identify areas of opportunity or threats, facilitate possible restructuring discussions, and bring your organization into full alignment.
Balanced Scorecard Strategic Planning
- Length: 12 months
- Monthly two-hour customized group trainings for unlimited team members
- Eight additional hours of one-on-one consultations and follow-ups per month
- Content: Utilizing the balanced scorecard framework, we work with your staff and volunteer leaders to review past performance, identify strategic goals and objectives, establish priorities and allocation of resources, create sound logic models, develop ownership and tactical operation of responsibilities, and establish agreed-upon metrics to measure success.
DonorScan® Strategic Fundraising
- Length: 18 months
- Monthly two-hour customized group trainings for unlimited team members
- Eight additional hours of one-on-one consultations and follow-ups per month
- Content: For those organizations that are intent on stretching their individual fundraising success to new levels, we assist with not only conducting a DonorScan® analysis of current donors, but we facilitate all follow-on planning and execution by your staff and volunteers. Included in this contract is message development, strategies and tactics, review and overhaul (if needed) of fundraising operations and apparatus, assessment of human and financial resources dedicated to resource development, and facilitation of collateral materials development. Our goal is to increase your individual gift receipts by 25 percent in 18 months, and to set you on a course for continual growth into the future.

Strategic Communications
- Length: 12 months
- Monthly two-hour customized group trainings for unlimited team members
- Eight additional hours of one-on-one consultations and follow-ups per month
- Content: Utilizing our expertise in strategic communications planning and programming, we work with your staff to assess the current communications functions; identify current status of identified audience awareness, knowledge, perceptions, attitudes, or behavior; establish legitimate and achievable communication goals; facilitate strategy and tactic planning; and evaluate success.
